The lounge is a place to relax. There is also a sofa that can easily be converted into a single bed. Although the room does not have a door, it is still a nice and peaceful place to sleep.

It is nice to spend time and relax in this apartment. We are only about 15 minutes away (by bike) from Bernkastel-Kues.

The Winter Garden is made for memorable dinners. You have a beautiful view of the vineyards where you can take walk or do nice bike rides. ("Papagallo")

We have created our holiday apartments "Kakadu" and "Papagallo" out of love and passion for travelling! We have travelled all over the world and have renovated and furnished the apartments in such a way that they are comfortable and are "a home away from home". In both apartments, everything is new and cleanliness is paramount to us. We also value nature and the environment; for example, our bedding and towels are made only from natural materials, such as organic cotton or linen

We hope that if you come and stay with us you will appreciate beauty and cleanliness and take care of the apartment during your stay, like your own home.

Both apartments have a nice cosy atmosphere, wonderful light furniture, high-quality textiles, and decorations that create this unique atmosphere.

In addition to pleasant living, we can offer you a large garden area, ​​approximately 500 square meters. In the garden, you can sunbathe, play with your children, grill/bbq, and sit from morning to night in a beautiful and peaceful village environment, enjoying the sound of the nearby stream and nature.

The "Kakadu" apartment on the first floor is perfect for a family with 2 kids. Both of the separate bedrooms have double beds. The living room has beautiful light colour furniture and the kitchen is fully equipped. You can easily let the children play in the garden.

The "Papagallo" apartment, located on the second floor, includes an outdoor terrace with furniture for your use. The house was completely renovated in 2023 both inside and out. This included new windows, floors, a kitchen, new furniture, decorations, and textiles. "Papagallo's" winter garden/dining room is insulated and renovated to a high modern standard.

There are three parking spaces in the front yard to be shared between the two apartments. In addition, there are several public parking areas near the house. There is a separate lockable storage area for bicycles and one charging point for electrical vehicles 800 m from the house (public parking).

It is also possible to rent the entire house (both apartments) which can then host up to 9 people, in which case we will open the interconnecting door between the 2 apartments

We are happy to welcome you to Mülheim! From here, you can also easily connect to nearby villages and towns on foot, by bike, by car, or by bus. You can cycle to Bernkastel-Kues (5 km) in about 15 minutes! Brauneberg (2,5 km), Wittlich (18 km), Trier (43 km), and Frankfurt Am Main airport are only 150 km away. Hahn Airport is just 37 km away.

There are numerous wineries and wine tastings in the area! You are in the middle of vineyards, nature trails, and great cycling routes! All are a few meters from the house. The nearest restaurant is the famous Richtershof Hotel/Restaurant just 200 m from the house. Mülheim also has its own pharmacy, butcher, and supermarket, all just a stone's throw away.

Both of the apartments have beautiful new furniture. The apartments have been renovated to be rented individually. The house has been completely renovated in 2022-2023 and the yard work will be completed during the spring.

This is an apartment where you can spend time in the yard, have a bbq and eat outside and enjoy the sun in a gentle village landscape surrounded by vineyards!
